My life as a digital nomad screeched to a halt in March 2020.
Returning home from Europe, I needed a job. I booked a Zoom interview for Indiana Math and Science Academy and was hired on the spot, virtually. Little did I know this interview would signal a new trajectory for my professional career.
My name is Chris Bultman. In my (new-ish) role as the Regional Director of External Affairs at Concept Schools Indiana Regional Office, I own marketing and enrollment for our two (soon to be three) schools, conduct community engagement efforts, and post to our social media channels and websites.
My first four years at IMSA North saw me develop skills in various roles including SEL curriculum designer and instructor, credit recovery teacher, and finally as a School Culture and Climate Specialist.
Before Concept, I was an admissions rep, student affairs specialist, and adjunct instructor at an Indianapolis career college where I became customer retention and sales ninja.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Indiana University and a Masters of Science in International Relations from Troy University.
I live with my beautiful and talented wife, Raychelle, and our crazy yet cuddly cat, Dexter in downtown Indianapolis. My hobbies include playing guitar, riding motorcycles, reading, traveling, and eating/cooking delicious food.
Fun fact: I played bass guitar and sang backing vocals in a rock band called 650north for over 20 years. We performed with many groups you know including Guns ‘N Roses.
